I took this picture yesterday while walking through Central London trying to capture the post-wedding atmosphere. (I don’t think I did. My grumpiness didn’t help. 😉 )
But I snapped this lady on the steps leading to The Mall and while working on the image at home I noticed that there are only two colours that really dominate the picture: gray and brown. Her hair is brown (or ginger, if you want to be precise), but also so is her bag and this annoying fluff which gives all allergy-sufferers hell.
It’s always very difficult to talk – and remain objective – about your own images, but I find this photo quite captivating. Not mind-blowing perhaps, but just intriguing. Definitely my favourite from this weekend.
